WHY IS A HEATER NECESSARY ON MY JETTED BATHTUB?

Without a heater, once the bathtub is full of water, the hydrotherapy jets add cool air to the water and the bath cools down rapidly.  To increase the temperature of the water back to the bather’s desired temperature, water is drained from the bath and hot water from your hot water tank is added (assuming any is left after filling the tub), Thus, the bath is either too hot or too cold and the desired temperature is difficult or impossible to maintain.  A bathtub heater overcomes this problem by maintaining the bathers selected temperature level.
